The incubation hub at Auriga IT aims to support information technology intensive innovation-based businesses ideas to grow and survive. The motivation behind our incubator initiative is our zeal to nurture the spirit of entrepreneurship and our successful stint with www.schoolsearch.in
We provided the SchoolSearch team a synergistic environment for 6 months with technical support, contacts, and infrastructure until it was successfully launched in September 2009. SchoolSearch, now sustained by angel funding continues to flourish under our mentorship.
The process
Auriga IT invites concept B-Plans from technical students- budding entrepreneurs which will be reviewed for their potential to develop into a unique proprietary technology (intellectual property) or a unique business model. The selected ideas will be invited to relocate at our incubation hub.
What we offer:
The incubation programme holds good for a period of 6 months from the effective date.
We provide your venture with:
- Office space
- Comprehensive ICT infrastructure, including telephones, bandwidth, internet and email access and data storage facilities.
- Business mentorship
- Access to contacts for marketing and vendor contacts.
- Help your venture incorporated.
In return, we take an equity stake of 7-12 % in each company that engages with us.
The incubation period does not last only a rigid period of 6 months. We will continue to offer our mentorship and assistance for as long as the venture requires. After completion of 6 months we can take our relationship to next level if required and both of us agree. The terms of future relationship will be discussed at that time only.
